Late season colour
The day slipped away in a flurry of data entry, shopping and washing - so somehow I never quite made it out for a walk, despite the weather being much more pleasant than recently, so I resorted to a quick photoshoot in the garden.
This Black-eyed Susan Rudbeckia fulgida 'Goldsturm' is a harbinger of autumn, lighting up the garden when most other plants seem to be fading. Before long it'll be joined by the Michaelmas Daisies, and then autumn will truly have arrived.
