Our day....

....it was the best :)

Mum, A and I enjoyed a delicious lunch out followed by a stop by the beach.  A gentle breeze drifted off the sea, lovely shades of blue, as small waves lapped the shore. It was our kind of place to be and nice for a quick pic of A with mum.

Then home to start the pack and to eliminate! A process which didn't take too long, A has things down to a fine art. Lovely that E popped in after work, another casual pic to make this collage of memories.

And then hubby and A at the airport, the time had come for her to fly. A lovely calm evening for her flight to Auckland, then on to Singapore. 

After a few nights in Singapore, she'll fly with a friend to Phuket and travel through Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, so exciting! For every 10 days she's in a hostel she's budgeted for a night in a hotel, some luxury along the way.

And then A will fly out of Hanoi to Berlin where she'll start a new job which she is also looking forward to. Everything has fallen into place nicely with holiday visa's, vaccinations while trying to organize a place to live in Berlin and all the paperwork needed for starting a new job in a new place. 

It's been a hectic time but so thankful to have this time with her before she starts this next adventure. It was very difficult saying 'until next time' for all of us.

It's now several days later, the house is quiet and I feel a little lost but A is having a wonderful time in Singapore, so so happy for her :))
