A little bit naughty

A grand afternoon re-assessing my opinion on Mr Bellany's work. A stonking good retrospective. I think I liked the honesty of it all the best. Having always thought it a bit contrived, experiencing it in a narrative form one couldn't help but be swallowed up by the genuine exploration so clearly ongoing.
I enjoyed the openness to naming his inspiration, not shying away and trying to appropriate it, and as a clear a life transformation as I've seen expressed through paint and line and colour.
Hurray.
Life of Pi in 3s afterwards seemed to pale really.
I wasn't supposed to be taking photos- gotta get my kicks somehow. (I did some sketching too so felt I could justify my naughtiness.)
