Yellow trumpets

....of Carolina Jessamine, she always looks pretty as her yellow flowers open, bright and cheerful. 

It felt very much like spring today, a good day for mooching and a wander through the garden with a cuppa in hand. I have lilies breaking the ground, primulas in flower in the lawn, roses starting to form leaves and one magnolia now in flower. 

The mornings are still cold and sometimes frosty but the days which follow are a delight.
