FIRE

Last night at around 6pm I looked out to see if evening displays had commenced. Instead I saw fire engines and police racing to smoke drifting above the clifftop. So I went down to the pier see what was happening. The promenade and clifftop nearby was all closed off.

This happened a couple of years ago when some idiots discarded a barbecue at the foot of the cliff at the same place. This time I believe it was arson (kids).

Just out for a few errands and a coffee (for me Darjeeling tea, don’t feel like strong coffee after my bug). Bumped into some friends on the bus so they joined us.

Then we will return home and watch the airshow.
