It stopped raining mostly for our last morning. Dog walk around the bay in the morning and we’re treated to this young girl playing trad music by the shore while her friend filmed her. Shopping innWestport and the best coffee of the holiday in Matt Malloys pub, followed by an attempt at an afternoon mountain walk, but we’re driven back by vast amounts of wetness outside and then eventually inside our waterproofs ! Called it a day and headed home happily dry and warm in car. Stopped off at stables ( all very exciting as Susan has gone off to see a potential new horse) and home by 7.30 pm . Very civilised at no flights or ferries to deal with . Lots of chat now about getting a camper can .... always seems like a good idea but we talk ourselves out of actually doing it!
