Hall stand handle

The hall stand I bought a couple weeks ago at Boldon Auctions had the handle of the drawer broken. The back plate and rings were there but the drop handle was gone. I ordered a similar version on the internet and I thought I would have to replace the whole thing. When I looked at the drop handle I realised I could probably get away with leaving the original back plate and just replacing the piece missing. It worked. Watching the repair shop tv programme is making me get on with some of these repair jobs.
