BottleBrush...Yum!

Ruby-throated Hummer enjoying the BottleBrush blooms. They've been very busy building up 'reserves' for their upcoming migration. 
Hurricane Dorian Update:
Still too early to determine the storm's exact path, but as of right now it looks as though consensus suggests that it will make landfall in South Florida and travel up the center of the state, which puts Gainesville directly in it's path. The winds will have reduced by that time, probably to Tropical Storm intensity but since it is a very slow moving storm, the rainfall will be  intense and flooding is sure to be a severe problem, especially since the ground statewide is already saturated by all of the rain we've been having.
Ugh. Watch this space.
