Behind the facade

It’s nice to that behind the shiny corporate frontage, there is an old wooden picnic bench where the staff can eat their bacon and egg sarnies.

A full day at the track today, our passes get us into the public areas and the paddock. I really like just watching the people come and go. I had to ask for a couple of autographs for people ( honestly ). Max Verstappen and Charles Le Cerc, both were very happy to help.

Alf and I walked the circuit, it’s a few miles around the perimeter and the gradients... ouch. Glad we finally did it though, saw some good on track action and it’s great to see the cars swooping through the down hill sections.

Just got back from dinner, a little quieter than last night, just Alf and I. More action tomorrow.
