Tobacco Barn, Southern Maryland

Tobacco used to be a huge cash crop before the government buyout. The barns are still every where and many are repurposed. The owner of the barn approached me while I was taking my blip and asked if his barn was going to be featured in a magazine. He said the barn had recently been refurbished  I told him that I was just using the photos for my personal interest and he seemed disappointed.. He was quite proud of his barn, rightfully so as it is quite a standout in the area. Most of the old tobacco barns are in pretty bad shape.
