First Attempt at Astrophotography.

Alright, take it easy on me, I've been taking pictures for years but other than the moon I've never really tried anything like this before. It was an incredibly clear, moonless night so Tamara, Nicole and I went over to Vermilion Lakes and tried our hand at long exposures of planets, stars and galaxies. Using the "starrover" app on my iPhone I was able to determine where the Milky Way was in the sky. Also got a shot of Jupiter and its moons but that shot will have to wait for another time because it didn't turn out so hot when I looked at it in LR. With the beautiful clear nights we get here in Banff, I know I'm going to try my hand at astrophotography several times in the coming months.
