The white iris

My niece and one of her daughters stayed with us last night. They came from Hamilton to go to a show on K Road. A Drag Queen show; niece is friends with one of the participants.

Today we spent talking and enjoyed a late lunch at one of the local cafes. Late because I had helped daughter No 1 collect a hire van for a school trip next week, and she needed to do that in the middle of the day.

So in the end, after they left to return to Hamilton, I went out on the deck and captured the white iris.
