Bridge over the river Kaiapoi

I took an Aboriginal painting that I bought at Yuendumu, in the Tanami Desert, to an Art Framer in Kaiapoi this afternoon. I’m really looking forward to getting the finished work. It’s of the Seven Sisters, also known as Pleiades, Matariki (in NZ) or the Taurus Constellation.

It’s going to be ready in 2 - 3 weeks.

I’ve got a Subaru XV vehicle, and I was very surprised to discover that the meaning of Subaru is ‘Seven Sisters’.
