Missing my dad

I lost my dad 2 weeks before Christmas, I'm finding it a little difficult to get my head around, being busy with Christmas having 3 children myself didn't leave any time to say goodbye.
I remember as a child 6:45 running and sitting on the window ledge waiting for him to come home. This week 6:45 I've had a churning feeling in my stomach.. I'm waiting for my dad to come home.
Looking at this picture probably means nothing to anyone who didn't know my dad, but to me it's a memory that makes me smile. And I think that's what taking a photograph is about, provoking thoughts and memories!
My dad may have passed in 2012 but he's making an appearance in my journal in 2013 :-)
