A message from Fred....

My last day today caring for Fred and Frankie the cats at our friends house and it's been such a lovely week spending time with them! Think the lovely house they live in helped matters so it's felt like a bit of a holiday!Always a bonus when the house is still standing, the plants are all still alive and the pets are still breathing when you've been looking after someone elses' prized possessions for a while! And thankfully Fred had me well trained to keep him well supplied with dreamies so I didn't find a trashed house at any point!

Was a lovely morning of weather too - warm and sunny - so also managed to go for a nice little walk on Benfleet Downs which is very close to their house, so had fun butterfly spotting and managed to see a few speckled woods and gatekeepers.   Clouded over this afternoon and the wind has picked up too - some rain would be nice for the garden!
