Very early start

Up at 6 to take Miss PHL to the airport for her flight to Cork ( she arrived safely) before heading to The DIY store to choose a paint colour. This was harder than it might have been as we were both very sleepy. Eventually chose and purchased what we needed and headed for home for a lie down - it was only just around 9 by this time but we were shattered.
Quick power nap later and off again to collect young Mr PHLs jacket from the menders and off to the big blue warehouse to look for a lampshade. Got there to find the world and his dog had also chosen to visit! Managed in and out in about 20 minutes and didn’t spend as much as our last visit so quite happy.
Spent the afternoon emptying out the room to be painted and washing the plates we bought the other week.
I decided to get the cutlery for next weeks party ready and thought it looked like a silly amount so tagging it for Silly Saturday - thanks to Admirer for hosting.
posting this from bed just before 9 as I can’t keep my eyes open any longer. night night.
