Thirty years on...

Copied from someone I discovered via a mutual friend today on Facebook. Thirty years ago today I set off for my ‘year abroad’ to Voronezh in what was then the Soviet Union. It was during the era of Perestroika, and the year the Berlin Wall came down. What a period of change.
