Here we go again

The poor folk that stay in the house where the latest pipe burst happened reported the burst before 8 this morning.

Their driveway was totally demolished in the process of exposing the pipe so the powers that be could order a new one. Three hours later the only progress was three more workers joined the others sitting on the opposite pavement.

Just after 21:30 we go home to find this gusher, on our pavement. Fortunately they had pointed the outlet onto the road so we didn’t get totally flooded but unfortunately it hit the opposite pavement which is full of building rubble, sand and other building materials. Maybe that should be was as most of that stuff has formed a new road hazard.

Worst of all, there must have been hundreds of thousands of liters of fresh water lost in the process.
