Sorted!

Not an exciting blip.

The living room curtain situation is finally sorted. After the bay window metropole we had made arrived damaged and had to be sent back, the curtains we had made to measure were too long and needed folding under. The lady has now been and adjusted them (3 1/2 hours) and they sit perfectly on the sill now. Phew!

Also had new dishwasher delivered this morning. Been without for a couple of months after the old one tried (and failed) to set fire to the house!

So, not an exciting blip. But it's a pleasing thing to have these two household things sorted out.
