Steaming mixed Tapas

A bit of a tedious day of travel leaving Scotland on a miserable wet day and eventually arriving at our apartment in Fuerteventura late evening.

We were hungry so set off for our favourite Argentinian restaurant in Corralejo and were well received despite being after 10 pm. We fancied tapas and the delightful waitress persuaded us to try the chicken, chorizo and 2 steaks platter to share. It arrived steaming hot and stayed that way on the burner .

We left after 11 pm completely sated - the Malbec was as I remembered and Mrs AMK enjoyed her white. It doesn’t often happen that I am defeated but we couldn’t quite finish everything- the steak was delicious.

We love vegetarian food so that can wait for another day - meantime we hope to have a restful week in the sunshine and recover from the hectic month we have just had.
