Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal

A FaceTime call with Dad this morning on his 86th birthday.  He was proudly wearing the clothes I had sent him (always a good sign) and was about to have a cup of tea in the mug with cyclists I had sent.  Result.  I wish he wasn't  living on his own but that's another story.

We went to Kendal this afternoon to run errands do some shopping.  This, of course, involved a trip to Wilkinsons where we looked at the new Canon RF 24-240 lens.  

We saw 'Mrs Lowry and son' at the Brewery.  Very good but quite heavy as she was a very difficult mother.  Both Vanessa Redgrave and Timothy Spall were excellent.  Bite to eat in the restaurant afterwards and home.
