Belated birthday dinner

There is a restaurnt in the valley that I've been keen to go to for a few years but for a variety of reasons, it never seems to have materialised. Early last week I phoned up to book a table and tonight was the first time they had space. 
Very civilised terrace and every table taken. A limited choice but what there was, was excellent. And they had the same cutlery was we have at home.
A trip down to the valley in the afternoon, also meant I could pick up my sabre saw that the delivery company decided was far too taxing to take to Sablieres and left it in a shop in Rosieres, four days after the promised delivery date.
With a little time to fill before the restaurant opened, the only sensible option seemed to be to taste some wine in the excellent Cave de Chazelis. Things one has to do,.
