Black Darter

We went for a wander round Thursley Common today for the first time since Mr DA injured his Achilles tendon. Unfortunately, before we went he managed to pull something in his back while putting his shoes on...but kept going with the aid of some Deep Heat. Anyway, although Colin the cuckoo is long gone for this year, there were lots of dragonflies and lizards around and also, apparently, a hobby which we just missed. The main picture is, I believe, a Black Darter and in Extras is a Common Hawker and two...others for the price of one.

As I type, Son+1 are cooking vegan pancakes, which are surprisingly yummy!
