All set for the garden party

The weather was perfect this afternoon for us to join our neighbours for a cheese and wine party in our shared garden. My blip shows one of the tables set for the arrival of the first guests. About 20 people total came along over the course of afternoon. My contribution to the party was a stack of cheese scones, as can be seen in the extra.

My main mission of the day has been to finish the rather long novel that we will be discussing at our book group tomorrow evening. As of early Sunday evening I have about 200 pages left to go, so I am now pretty certain that I will make the deadline.
