At this stunning stately home, on Saturday with Karen and Garri, the gardens and house, are really lovely, first extra,  is view of house, which was used in Andrew Davies Pride and Prejudice, any avid fans will know it is the approach to Rosings, and the home of Lady Catherine De-Bergh! The Blue bedroom is where Darcy penned his letter to Elizabeth, explaining his behaviour during his proposal to her. African blue lily, outside the orangery, the red bloom in the orangery is a trailing Abutilon of the hibiscus family. We had a tour of the house, and   another of below stairs, reminding us of Downton Abbey.  We did have to rush back to the car in a very heavy shower, but the sun returned and we bought a few keepsakes from the shop. were out 10 hours, and were all happily exhausted from a lovely day out.  Hope youv'e all had a good weekend.
