Street Party, Our Turn

What a feast we had today, everyone brought delicious aperitifs, salads, deserts and wine to go with the raclette (melted cheese on potatoes and carrots). The street has seen the birth of two babies recently so it was lovely to have a cuddle and to play with the slightly older children. Our grandchildren are too old for that now! We were lucky, it rained only for desert! Now most of the clearing up is done, will finish tomorrow when we return the various bits of furniture that will hopefully have dried out by then. We are so lucky to have such great neighbours.
