Drastic measures!

A lovely sunny warm day -makes you think Spring- gardening - pruning - clearing etc. No doubt winter will return with vengeance and catch us out but anyway this morning pruned my vine. Planted a vine over my patio to give us shade in full summer when we are sipping a cool Prosecco outside. How wrong can you be - last year was miserable and the last thing we wanted /needed was shade. Anyway spring makes us hopeful - maybe next year.
Also needed to finish the winter pruning of a badly trained wisteria which always flowers beautifully. Got Al on the job - he loves using the pruning saw!
