Gavins mill

We have a wee routine if there is need for a trip to the tip*. The tip comes first but that's mainly because it is the nearest. Then comes a breakfast or scone at Dobbies** taking advantage of that month's 2 free*** hot beverages.

After a wander round the shop smelling the scented candles, comes the Shopping. Waitrose if they have sent Marketing discount coupons or Tesco if there is to be no money off.

** Other garden centres are available. (But their range of cakes might not be so good)

*** There is no such thing as a free lunch. A paid membership to their Club gives me 2 hot beverages on a monthly basis.

**** River turned the Mill wheel at the mill owned by Gavin, from whence came the name Gavin's Mill later corrupted to Milngavie - pronounced "mul- guy". There's a new wee project going on there. It possibly has a tea room. You should visit.
