Here I come!

January challenge day 5 "Movement"

"208 squadron cleared for landing" ... "Watch out, here I come!"

A full day today so little time for photos. The greenfinches seemed to be using the feeder for flight practise, taking it in turns to wait on the branches of the tree and then swoop down at speed.

Unfortunately the feeder is often in the shadow of the house so the lighting is difficult. It's also taken through the study window. Not the sharpest of pictures (it has been cropped a bit as well!) but the best bird in flight I've ever managed!

It won't make the BlipBigYear challenge but it does meet the January 2013 challenge which today is "movement"!
