slow

I'm having a slow day today. Read in bed for a bit and got up at dawn (8.38!) to have my porridge and coffee. Cycled slowly into town to get the paper and go to the library. I noticed huge 'V's of geese flying noisily overhead, coming inland from the Solway to feed. Lunch with D who had been working last night, and now at my desk, doing this and that. Soon I'll go and light the fire and knit a few rows of scarf (New Year's Resolution...finish scarf). I am a slow knitter!
