The lord loves a Trier...

First driving day since Nurburgring but this time a gentle drive to the historic town of Trier. Originally the Roman Capital of Western Europe, it is also the birthplace of Karl Marx. In the centre of the town is Trier Cathedral with its ornate black marble floors. The marble is also on one of the altars and provides a great reflection of the church.
