Ironman

We have come up to Ulverston to look after Lucie tomorrow.
We decided to go via the Anthony Gormley installation of metal figures on Crosby beach, called Another Place.
I hadn’t realised there are so many of them, a hundred, spread out over quite a distance along the sands. They are very atmospheric and striking in appearance. We caught them just before the tide came in and if we had been a bit later the ripples on the beach and the light wouldn’t have been as good. I’d like to be there at sunset.
After we’d seen them and taken some photos we went to a coffee shop recommended by John39 , Crosby Coffee. Excellent, thanks John!
Now we’re with Lucie and co. Got away with reading only three books this evening as she was tired.
