Scottish Mid Trail Champs

Entered this rather than the orienteering as it was closer to home and it would allow me to see how my running training is ticking along. It also looked like fun and I had orienteered here 4 months ago (the map) so I knew what to expect.

I finished around 10th but I wasn't sure how many counted in the team prize. I finished 4th HBT and worried it was only 3 to count as I couldn't catch Ewan, dangling 10s ahead all race. At the prizegiving, though I found out it was 4 to count so HBT won 1st Team convincingly. I won a medal and £20. A successful day out.
