I was off today and it was pretty dreich so I decided to check out my curiosity about an exhibition at Farfield Mill near Sedbergh. I had seen that an artist called A.C.Telfer was exhibiting and wondered if it was someone I worked with about 30 years ago. It was. I’ve added an extra of one that unsurprisingly appealed called The Bather.
Seeing as I was down there I thought I’d go up Cautley Spout but abandoned that idea about half way up as the cloud level came down, it got wetter and gusts funnelled down the valley.
My friend texted saying she fancied a swim after work so I headed back and we went down to the lake. It’s definitely hot tea rather than beer conditions now!
