Closed...

Tube driver (over the tannoy thing:  Train will not be stopping at the next stop (Kings Cross), as it is closed
Me:  Oh darn (words to that effect)

Train missed, obviously, but at least it was only the tube station that was closed, thank goodness.  Will be home later than planned, but it could be worse. 

First day of pupils back at school, it felt very, very 'back to school'.
