The bigger picture?

We met friends for coffee this morning in Bruntsfield and then went down towards Morningside to search for second-hand books. I got three new crime books and a book called Perfidious Albion about post Brexit eastern England. How appropriate then that we got back home to find that the arch Brexiteers carried out a bloodless coup against the people. I guess the mural at St John’s reminds us that there are even more important things. Roll on independence.
