Rainy Wire

After Marylee's outing to the supermarket, it rained for a couple of hours around midday, at times quite hard. This wire ran to the house across the street, and I noticed the drops against the dark trees behind--very striking viewed against the dark. The day turned mostly sunny  afterwards. We followed the progress of Hurricane Dorian toward Florida. It has stalled over the Bahamas--ghastly for the residents.  Otherwise U.S. Open tennis. As I write, Nadal (Spain) is beating Cilic (Croatia) in the evening session.
