The humble onion

I recently read somewhere, that placing a cut onion in various rooms in your house, would ward off evil viruses.............. for eg: the cold and flu virus. The reasoning being, that onions attract bacteria. Blah blah blah.....

Intriqued as only I can be, I decided to put this to the test.

The other day, I placed half an onion in the living room. The smell would have been enough actually to chase any virus away!! Maybe that's how it's supposed to work?

I left it there overnight and got up in the morning................trying not to expect a miracle.......................


................. with a blocked nose and sore throat!!!


Hmphhhffff!!!

So, I could wonder, if I should have used a red onion? or perhaps.....
I should have put them in every room in the house? (but that also would have chased me away far less anything else!!) or..............

That it's a lot of total tosh and doesn't bloody work!!!!

The moral of the story folks, is..............

Don't be the same gullable eejit I was, just don't do it!!! :)
