New Asgard
It was a very hot day again. The boys went to church and I headed out for a five mile run. I was almost melted by the time I got home. BB was playing football after church, so I wandered down and caught the last bit of the game. Everyone was struggling in the heat – players and spectators. We came home and had lunch in the garden, although BB preferred to stay in the cool of the house.
We then headed down to St Abbs for a walk. As the forecast was for thunder and lightning, we decided not to walk out to the lighthouse, and just had a wander around St Abbs and Coldingham Bay. There were some big spots of rain, so we decided it was probably time to curtail our walk and we headed back to the car. As the spots hadn’t really come to anything we stopped off at a café for a cuppa and cake and I bought a couple of gifts in the gallery, before we headed back up the road.
We stopped at the supermarket and had to wait for the torrential rain to ease off before we waded through floodwater to get back to the car. There was more rain later, with lots of thunder and lightning.
Thor lives here apparently!
