Moss Hat

A lovely mild day today so took Mij for an extra long walk. This mossy fence post caught my attention while walking back from Dhivach Falls and 100 yards further down the road I stood for 5 minutes watching a bat flying around catching insects in broad daylight. It was definitely the wrong time of day to see the bat and I'm pretty sure the wrong time of year; shouldn't they be hibernating?
Strange things happening with the weather, Daff and Crocus buds are up and we had Crab Apple blossom in November!
