Day #5 At Sea

We left Bordeaux at 8am in the morning and may people were up to see the sail down the river. To be honest, it wasn't that exciting with mainly industrial things to see along the way, but I think more people had risen early to see if there were any protestors. There have been reports of protestors chaining themselves to the bridge to prevent it from rising. They are unhappy about the larger ships that are allowed to dock near the centre of town, but they are quite happy for multiple river boats to dock along the same stretch probably causing almost as much disruption, pollution etc.
