(R)oh dear!

Another grey day, but we should be used to it by now.

Mid-morning Mrs M spotted a roe deer ambling up the path between our house and the bank above. I couldn't see it from the kitchen so carefully opened the front door to be met with a sweet little face peering round the corner! (S)he took fright and climbed up the bank - I rushed for my camera, but trying to photograph a moving animal through double glazing isn't going to produce a masterpiece, unfortunately! This is the best of a bad bunch.

What made it worse was that the wretched animal walked over my new bed, leaving deep hoof marks. I'll need to think of something to divert him or her somewhere else, though he/she was very cute!
