First Taster

Well, only 114 days to go, but with this promise of the festive season already on the supermarket shelves who can blame me for being in joyous mood this far ahead.
In fact, I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised at the merging of the seasons — it was only a couple of weeks ago we had the treat of hot cross buns and Easter is much further off.
Anyway, I couldn’t resist temptation and I had to indulge in the first taster for Christmas. And I would not be surprised.if a few more mince pies find their way into the shopping basket in the 114 days till Christmas Day itself!
