Here we go!

Full staff and faculty photo was taken last week, (by my colleague Alex, end of front row - who having set the self timer, runs the distance to join us!), but makes a relevant photo for today as we all gear up for the new academic year that officially starts tomorrow. It was, for me day of final negotiations, tweaking the department teaching schedule and other tasks that really should have, and maybe would have, been accomplished before now, had we not been engaged in quite so many "meetings" since 21st August. To get in to the classroom will, frankly, be a relief.
