Another Rose

I cut this rose Sunday and popped it in a vase with the dahlia. 
The roses are still blooming. The garden is still looking ok and I still have quite a lot of colour.
I spent the morning cutting back the laurels, it took a while and quite tiring. Had a rest then late afternoon went out again and planted cabbages and kale plus some tulip bulbs. I just hope the cats don't start coming back in the garden now there are areas of fresh soil!
I have my post op appointment tomorrow so hope I'm discharged and can drive. It will only be short local journeys if I can drive.
