Vase of flowers

Today's the day ……………………….. to arrange

All the flowers here were casualties of the very wet and windy weather that we've had recently.  Gladioli in particular are just not designed to withstand anything but the most calm conditions in the garden.

And it's quite nice to have them inside for a change ……………………..


PS  A precious memory of what happened on this day eight years ago.  The first time we met fellow blipper Longshanks and his lovely wife Kris.  He sadly passed away in March 2015 - and I miss him still ……………….
