When in Rome

Thankfully my headache vanished yesterday as my sister and me are in Rome today for a few days.
We arrived in the afternoon and made the most of a gloriously sunny and hot late afternoon and evening by visiting Vatican City. We ended up (accidentally) climbing all the stairs to the very top of the dome. A spectacular view but exhausting climb. This is my sister before we started the epic ascent. Shortly after this photo my sister was told by some jumped up tosser to cover her knees and show some respect. It’s hardly as if she was indecently dressed. Arsehole.
I found the best tat - a glow in the dark Virgin Mary. I was almost tempted to buy it. Almost....
