Day One

The first day of the new year came as a shock to both of our systems today but Bailey has been a bit unhappy with me tonight. Having had a day on his own apart from a visit from his dog walker, he required a bit more entertainment from me than he got with a few emails to reply to. (To be fair, I was a bit grumpy too when I realised that I was a letter short of the actual message that I want on my board in my office. More letters ordered so that I don't have that problem again.) 

My day was less boring than Bailey's. Two presentations delivered and an attentive audience throughout both was a good indication that what was being said made sense. The students are in tomorrow and then it really will feel like we have got going.
