Gladhouse Reservoir
A bit of a dull and cold morning. Not at work, so I go for a wee walk down to Braidburn Valley Park. I do take a few photos, before heading home. When I get there, the buddlea is full of butterflies, so I take a shot of the rarer, for the UK at least, Painted Lady.
The sky does clear in the afternoon, so I go for a quick spin in Midlothian.I head out to Auchendinny, then up to Mount Lothian and Gladhouse. The blip is taken at the east end of the reservoir. I carry on east to Middleton, then back to Castleton before south to Carrington and Bonnyrigg. A quick jaunt along the cycle path to Eskbank, from there, it's along Gilmerton Rd and the Braid Hills to home.
The route can be seen at Relive here.
