Last day

Like many homes christmas decorations have been coming down today leaving the place feeling somewhat bare and drab. I'm sure the feeling will subside after a few days.

Had a busy day with little chance to pick up a camera to do anything in any way interesting - just the usual chores around home, getting my hair cut, collecting Jonathan from football, walking the dog etc. Into town immediately after lunch - Jonathan needed new shoes for school as well as a new pair of football boots, a bus pass and collecting something from the jewellers for Gail.

I had just a few minutes after lunch so I took down the wreath from the front door (blipped before Christmas) and tried doing a focus stack. On inspection, it hasn't worked quite as I'd hoped so here instead is s straight single shot with a bit enhancement in PS.

Now got an FA Cup football match to watch (involving 2 United teams). Not got a ticket for tomorrow's lion killing that will see Liverpool exit the cup (as if....). Anyway - good look Stags!
